This is the beginning of a story about four couples, one island, a ferry, and a a beautiful barn. Seeking a place of beauty and tranquility, these friends found themselves drawn to the Lowcounty and it's enchanting shores. United by their shared love for Daufuskie Island, these four couples formed a bond of friendship. Their passion for the island led to the creation of The Canoe Club, a haven for those who seek to immerse themselves in Daufuskie's magical embrace with the vision of creating memories by hosting life's most meaningful special events. In 2023, The Canoe Club was born.
